Garry Luxmoores profile

Garry is the founder and one of the two Principals of BDI. He comes from a learning background and has over 25 years experience in the business/ corporate world. His work life has seen him based in London, Auckland, Tokyo and Australia, as well as conducting assignments in over 10 different countries. Garry’s drive in life is to develop learning both in people and in organisations. He is a strategist and a visionary who has been called a genuine ‘pracademic’ such is his ability to bridge theory with the realities of the business world. In addition to being an Accredited WIAL Senior Action Learning Coach, Garry is trained in the LIFO ® method, is the Dean of the Faculty of Corporate Studies with IMCA, a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and the Institute of Company Directors. Garry has served on a number of Boards, is a highly respected and sought-after coach and trainer, and has been instrumental in a range of cultural change and research consulting assignments. As a partner and consultant with Business Decisions, Jo's role is based in the training and development division of the company. Jo holds a MBA, and is highly qualified in the presentation of instruments such as LIFO ®, Navigating Through Change, Effective Negotiation and Influencing Skills and The Myers Briggs Type Indicator. She is a Certified Action Learning Coach (CALC).

Jo's areas of specialty lie in facilitation and small group training, where she has designed and delivered a range of programs covering areas such as customer focus, communication skills, negotiation skills, supervisory level leadership development and change management. She is licensed to deliver the Effective Negotiation Service specialist methodologies.

Clients Jo has worked with include Westfield Shopping Centers, Brisbane Convention Centre, Leighton Contractors, Comalco, Stanwell Power Station, Mainland Products and All India Management Association.
