Business Decisions begun in 1992 as g
Throughout the years, the company's business has consistently grown almost entirely through word of mouth referrals. Training assignments also came through a sub-contracting relationship with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) Queensland, as well as licensing agreements through:
- Effective Negotiation Services,
- Situational Leadership, and
- Strength Deployment Inventories.
Thus, the company's initial years involved conducting both in-house and public training programs in areas such as:
- Negotiation and Influencing Skills
- Leadership
- Managerial Effectiveness
- Team Building
In 1996, the training focus was augmented through an association with the U.S. based consulting company Organisation Dynamics Incorporated (ODi).
ODi was an international firm specialising in Total Quality Management (TQM) solutions. Interest in the quality movement was high, and accordingly, Business Decisions's client base diversified significantly. As the quality movement waned, ODi moved into Strategic Leadership and Cultural Change Solutions and in the process, greatly influenced the future of Business Decisions.
The next significant milestone in Business Decisions' history came in 1999 when it purchased the operations of Minerva Consulting in Brisbane, which incorporated the brands of:
Minerva Clements (ex John Clements and Associates)

This signified a huge move for Business Decisions, as it 'came of age' as a company. The client base grew, both in size and stature, as the company moved in the 'big time'.
Two important additions to the Business Decisions product range emerged with the acquisition of Minerva Consulting. These additions were:
